Vivid’s expertly made all-aluminum frames are designed to be clean, crisp, and subtle so that your image is the star of the show. Below is all you need to know.
We offer four types of frames:
- Frame-to-Edge: The frame is flush to the edge of the print
- Recessed: Sometimes known as float. This frame is recessed or inset 1.5” from the edge of the image.
- Float: Sometimes known as shadowbox. This frame creates a ¼" gap between the edge of the image and the frame --the image floats in the frame.
- DUO Backer: Our exclusive DUO backer allows you to hang your print on a wall without nails or damage. Move it up to 5 times! You can also display it on any flat surface.

Frame-to-Edge- Our most popular frame. The print is precisely cut to the edge of the frame creating a dramatic and sleek look.

Float- A float frame is a truly elegant option. Your image is set back a quarter of an inch from the edge of the frame giving it a gorgeous, floating look.

Mounting Options
We have 3 mounting options for our framed prints. We also include a bubble level to help make that hanging job just a bit easier.
- Easy Mount or Cleat
- Secure Easy Mount
- Wire Mount
Easy mount or cleat- This very simple and effective system works for just about any wall. The mount inserts into our frames for stability and adjustability. If your print is 40” wide or longer, then it will come with two cleats that are 6” long. And if the print is less than 40”, then two small mounts are included with anchors for drywall.
Secure Easy Mount- Just like the above but with a special T screw and wrench. The T screw fits in the bottom channel of the frame and the wrench turns the screw to lock the print to the wall.
Wire Mount- Vivid's wire mount uses sturdy 7x7 wire and comes with a quality hook and nail.
