VMP for Schools
Teach your students that their work has value, and fund your program while you do it.
We give your school a gallery where student photography sells as museum-quality metal prints, plus the teaching that gets students there: file prep, common printing mistakes, and live webinars. Your program earns on every sale and keeps earning for life, and you never touch production or shipping.
Fundraising that compounds instead of resetting.
Most school fundraising expires. You do the work once, collect once, and start over next year. This works differently. We set your school up with its own student print gallery and a unique code, and from there it runs on its own. Student work sells year-round, and the people who buy it fund the program that made it possible.
The mechanics are simple. A supporter orders a print and enters your school's code. They get 15% off, your school earns 15% commission, your program keeps 100% of the image fee on that photograph, and we produce and ship the print from our North Carolina facility. The buyer is then tied to your school permanently, so any future order they place keeps paying your program 15%.
- A parent buys their child's photograph and enters your code. They save 15%.
- Your school earns 15% commission on the print, plus 100% of the image fee on that student's photo.
- That buyer is now linked to your school for life. No expiration, no fine print.
- A month later they print a family photo of their own. Your school still earns 15%, and on every order after it.
Two separate streams of income. Both yours.
There are two distinct things flowing to your school, and they pay for two different reasons.
Earned every time someone orders with your code, including their own future prints. This is your school's to keep, with no cap and no expiration.
- Paid on every order from every customer you bring in
- Tracked automatically through your code
A flat fee built into each student print as the purchase of the photograph itself. We collect none of it. You set the amount and decide how it is shared.
- Set and kept 100% by your school
- Funds the program and the student photographers
How the two relate. The 15% commission is your school's reward for bringing the customer and stays with the school. The image fee is the value of the student's photograph and goes to your program to share with that student however you arrange it. We never take a cut of the image fee and have no say in how you divide it. That part is yours to design.
We help you teach it, too.
The most valuable thing a creative program can give a student in 2026 is the understanding that their work has real value, and the skill to realize it. Partnering with us is a teaching opportunity as much as a revenue one. We have been bringing photography programs into our process for years, and we bring that directly to your students.
Live sessions for your class
We run webinars walking students through how professional prints are made and what separates work that sells from work that does not.
Getting a file print-ready
Resolution, color, cropping, and sizing. The practical knowledge that turns a good photo into a finished piece a buyer wants on their wall.
What goes wrong, and why
The recurring errors we see, from soft files to wrong aspect ratios, taught as lessons so students avoid them before they ever submit.
Pricing and selling their work
Students see their own images produced and sold, which teaches the thing classrooms rarely can: their creative work is worth paying for.
Photography programs from several North Carolina colleges have come through our facility for file-prep lessons and joined our webinars.
NYC Salt, and the model behind this program.
For two years we have worked alongside NYC Salt, an artist-led digital photography residency that empowers New York City high school students from communities the creative economy has historically left out, at no cost to students or their families. We produced their students' work as fine-art metal prints, and the response made the model clear: the work belonged on a wall, and supporters wanted to own it.
That experience is what shaped the system on this page. A clean, trackable way for any school to do the same, where buying student work funds the program that created it.
"Every photograph in this collection was made by a NYC Salt student. By purchasing a print, you are directly supporting the student whose work you admire and the program that made it possible."
This is not another project to staff.
The split of work is deliberately lopsided in your favor. Here is everything your school actually does, and everything we handle.

Let's set up your school's gallery.
Tell us about your program and your students. We will walk you through the setup, build your gallery, get your code live, and schedule a session for your class. No cost to start and no commitment to find out if it fits.
