At Vivid Metal Prints, we don’t just hit print and hope for the best. If something in your file looks off—or if it’s not something we’d be happy with as a customer ourselves—we’ll flag it and reach out. Quality matters, and we’re here to help you nail it.

 

What’s a Metal Proof? ($30 Flat Fee)

Our metal proofs are one of the most powerful tools we offer to make sure your final print is exactly what you envision.

Here’s how it works:

• For just $30, we’ll ship you a proof kit on real metal.

• Once you receive it, give us a call or shoot us an email with any notes.

• We’ll make your requested changes and send you a second round of proofs.

• Most clients approve on the second set—but both sets (and shipping!) are included in the one-time $30 fee.

Each $30 proof kit includes two metal pieces:

• Mini full image – so you can check overall color balance.

• Zoomed-in section at full size – so you can see the detail and clarity at final resolution.

 

HD+ Resolution Enhancement ($20)

Want to go bigger but your image feels too small or pixelated? That’s where HD+ comes in.

For just $20, we run your image through our advanced suite of upscaling and enhancement tools—designed to bring out the best in your file. This helps reduce noise, sharpen detail, and make your photo suitable for larger sizes than it was originally intended for.

Note: While HD+ can dramatically improve many images—especially cellphone photos or lower-res files—it’s not a magic wand. Every image is different, and results may vary depending on file quality, lighting, and original resolution. If HD+ doesn’t improve your image, we’ll refund the $20. No risk. Just better prints.

We’ve seen stunning results—especially with cellphone photos being printed as large as 20×30 inches or more.

File Retouching 

At Vivid, we care deeply about how your image looks—and how you feel when you see it printed.

Even if you don’t select a retouching option, we’ll still reach out if we spot any major red flags. But for those who want extra polish and peace of mind, our retouching options offer dedicated attention from a senior technician to elevate your file to its fullest potential.

✦ Level 1 – Quick Cleanup ($10)

We audit your file and correct any obvious flaws like stray pixels, color inconsistencies, or visible dust.

✦ Level 2 – Boost & Clean ($25)

Includes everything in Level 1, plus our HD+ enhancement, designed to sharpen detail, reduce noise, and prep your file for larger output.

✦ Level 3 – Full Polish ($50)

Everything from Levels 1 and 2, plus an intensive dust and blemish cleanup to ensure a flawless print, especially ideal for large-format gallery pieces.
